CIS Grade 5 pupils were invited to Horizon Schools

The pupils were invited to a cultural exchange among different nationalities. The pupil's did a choir, Kungfu and a dance presentation. The children were excited to be there.

The Grade 4 class went to visit the Optician

The Grade 4 pupils were taken on a tour to the Optician so that they could learn more on how to protect their eyes and also had an eye examination.

The Nursery, Pre-School and Reception classes were taken on a conducted tour of the Fire Station.

The pupils were taken on well conducted tour of the Fire Station, they first went through a lecture, fire drill demonstrations and also had a feel of the fire truck by driving on it.

The pupils were taken on a conducted tour of the museum where they learnt more about the country's history and traditional ceremonies in particular the Kuomboka Ceremony.

The Grade 6 and 7 classes were taken on a tour of the National Assembly to know more about their operations and a lot more.

As per school program, the kids have a field trip every year. This time around they were taken to see the artifacts, learn more about our culture and other amazing things found at the Kabwata Cultural Village.

The filed trip to the Post Office

As per school program to annually take our kids on field trips. This time around the kids were taken on a field trip to the Post office so that they could learn more about stamps, postage procedures and have first hand filling of posting mails. Alll the students were happy to have visited the Post office and some of them even sent mail to their parents.

Field Trip to Levy Mall

As per school policy to provide field trips to all our students. We took our students to Levy Mall so that they could window shop, and actually see what happens at the shopping mall.

The field trip to the Fire Brigade

As per school arrangement to annually take our pupils to different places on field trips. Our kids were taken to the Fire Brigade Station. The kids were taught about the different kinds of fires, how to stop a fire and also had a lecture on the operation of the Fire Station. They were given a rare opportunity to jump on the Fire Truck which the children really enjoyed.
